Content Policy
The spotlight is shown to everyone, live. If your listing (product name, photo, prices, promo code or link) breaks these rules, we will remove it without a refund, and we may block you from bidding again. This policy covers the page your link goes to as well as what appears on QwikBuy.
Never allowed (zero tolerance)
- Child sexual abuse material, or any sexualisation of minors. We report this to the authorities (including NCMEC) and keep the evidence.
- Non-consensual intimate imagery, and doxxing (publishing someone’s private information).
- Content promoting terrorism or violent extremism, or credible threats of violence.
- Malware, phishing, credential harvesting, drive-by downloads or deceptive redirects.
Never allowed on QwikBuy (brand-safe, everywhere)
QwikBuy is a family-friendly, brand-safe place to shop in every country we serve. These are banned even where they are legal and licensed:
- Betting and gambling of any kind: sports betting, casinos, poker, lotteries, “sure odds”, booking codes, betting tips and prediction schemes.
- Sexual or adult content: pornography, nudity, escort or companionship services, adult-content subscriptions (e.g. OnlyFans), sex toys and sexual-enhancement products. This includes the photo, the text and the profile or page your link goes to.
- Weapons, ammunition and explosives.
- Drugs, cannabis and CBD products, tobacco, vapes and e-cigarettes.
- Forex or crypto “signals”, investment schemes, loan offers and MLM recruitment.
- Fake followers, likes, reviews or other engagement services.
We check for these automatically before you can pay, and our moderators review reports. A listing that slips through is removed without a refund.
Not allowed
- Graphic violence or gore.
- Hate speech, or harassment of people based on protected characteristics.
- Targeting, mocking or harassing a private individual.
- Content that infringes copyright, trademarks or other rights, including counterfeit goods.
- Scams, pyramid or Ponzi schemes, “get rich quick” offers, unlicensed financial products, unregistered securities or token sales, and fake giveaways.
- Illegal goods and services, such as fake documents, stolen goods or hacking services.
- Misleading health claims, and prescription drugs without proper licensing.
- Impersonating a person, brand or government body, or falsely implying their endorsement.
- Election disinformation, or political ads where local law requires disclosures you haven’t made.
- Anything illegal where it can be seen, which in practice means almost everywhere.
Must do
- Real prices only. The “usual price” must be a price you genuinely charged recently, and the QwikBuy price must be available to shoppers who come from QwikBuy. Inflated “was” prices are illegal in most countries (fake reference pricing) and we remove them.
- Describe the product honestly, including its condition (new, used, refurbished).
- Sell only things you have the right to sell, and deliver what you advertise.
- Use a working https link, or your own Instagram, TikTok, X or WhatsApp. Don’t change what your link, profile or chat shows after you bid to get around this policy.
- Make honest claims. Advertising law applies to you, wherever your ad is seen.
- Only upload images you own, or have a licence to use. JPEG, PNG, GIF or WebP, up to 5 MB.
